This book is an analysis of the creativ e work of the artist Chrystèle Lerisse. It deals with a scientific axis of research on the plastic work of Lerisse, in the manner of a narrative. The author, Sam Basu, goes to find out where die artist Chrystèle Lerisse, cornes from.
The narrative is accompanied by the unpublished presentation of four founding photographs of the anises work: the first two, taken at the age of six, in 1966, which announce her future research and work; one from 1979 which confirais her choice to enter photography in 1975; and finally the photograph that marks the break with her apprenticeship and her entry into the art world in 1985.
